Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my website and view my artwork.

My name is Margaret Knowlden, I moved from the East End of Long Island, NY. to the scenic Jupiter Florida with my family in 2019.

I spend a lot of my time at the local parks and beaches along the coastal waterway in my surounding area  of Jupiter, all of which inspire most of my artwork.  

I love to plein air paint weather permitting and I am always on the lookout for interesting themes, which can range from beach scenes to palm trees, boat marina's, buildings and historical structures of interest.  I have been painting almost daily and working hard to finish paintings of  Jupiter and surrounding areas. 

I have exhibited and sold my work at several galleries, colleges and libraries as you will read on my web site and have studied with several well-known artists and sculptors.  I am always experimenting with the many different mediums and techniques involved in creating art.
